Fun Factory is one of the pioneering brands that wrote the history of sex toys: it was founded in 1996 (in Germany) and was among the first to stand out from the bulk of flesh-coloured phallic replicas often made from mysterious smelly and non-body-safe plastic offering colourful and safe objects made from silicone and designed with Fun shapes and names.
On our personal journey in search of pleasure, it was the first enlightened brand we crossed paths with and the one of the first good sex toys we bought together – the first version of Laya (an external vibrator, gently curved, that rests on the vulva and can be used to stimulate the clitoris, labia, vaginal opening), battery-powered, still functioning, that’s now framed and hung on full display in our living room (it was a Fun Factory bestseller for many years and over time it was updated and redesigned and became the Laya II, rechargeable and fully waterproof).

Clit Kit
Clit Kit is the new sex toy set designed by Fun Factory for the internal and external stimulation of the clitoris and with an educational intent.
The idea behind it is to encourage people with vulva & vagina to get to know and explore their clit in its wholeness (and not just the small and visible part overlooking the vulva), both physically and culturally.
If we consider that sex education (in many countries) is still ostracised and entirely absent or limited to reproductive anatomy and sexual risks and dangers and diseases (and that, as a result, many people put their own body in someone other’s hands without literally knowing how it’s made and how it works), just the fact that there is a (playful, fun, friendly) kit of (playful, fun, friendly, pleasurable) accessories for the sexual wellbeing that helps to fill our gaps in the anatomy of pleasure, is kind of a cultural revolution and one we need.
I believe the cultural component of sex toys is something fascinating and unfortunately still undervalued.

Clit Kit wants to bring attention to the clit, a pleasure centre that was silenced for centuries because it doesn’t serve reproduction. During the last years, a lot of brands focused on producing sex toys for stimulating this organ, sparking a reclaiming of female pleasure and orgasm. But the narrative around clitoral pleasure often talks about the stimulation of the only visible and external part (the glans). The Clit Kit reminds us that we can stimulate the clit inside out as it extends for several centimetres into our body hugging the vaginal canal with its spongy bulbs of erectile tissue.
What’s inside the Clit Kit box

The kit includes:
- Stronic Petite – a smaller version of the Pulsator that stimulates the vagina thrusting back and forth
- Volita – a smaller version of Fun Factory’s Volta; a battery-operated external vibrator with fluttering tips
- Vulva-themed tattoos
- Vulva-themed stickers
- Fact or Myths cards about vulva & clit
- Vulva-themed car fragrance

Stronic Petite – review
It’s the Petite version of the Stronics, sex toys that fall under the category of Pulsators.
The Pulsator was invented by Fun Factory: it looks like a vibrator but instead of vibrating it thrusts back and forth thanks to two powerful magnets that drive a counterweight inside (that’s also why it is NOT recommended for people with pacemakers).
The Pulsator gamma includes several models with shafts that vary in shape (for example, there’s a rabbit version with a vibrating extension for the clit and one with a curved tip to reach and massage the G-spot area). There’s also a pulsator that combines thrusting, tapping, pulsation and vibrations (Sundaze).

Stronic Petite is the smaller version of a pulsator: the shaft is shorter, it has a smaller diameter and is lighter. And all of this is to the advantage of pleasure and user-friendliness: I also have a Stronic Surf and I always found it a bit challenging, so I think this new Petite version is more balanced, versatile and easy to handle.
But let’s start from the type of stimulation: it’s something completely different from vibration and also from the movement of a penis during penetration and different from the sex toys called thrusters that aim to simulate the penetrative motion. This is the kind of stimulation that’s particularly ideal for the vagina, since this organ better responds to energetic stimuli as pressure and vigorous massages, especially past the part close to the opening, where it’s less sensitive.
Unlike thrusters, where the handle stays still and the shaft moves back and forth on a single axis, in the case of pulsators is the entire toy that moves in a more tridimensional way midway between pulsation and thrusting.
It feels kind of like a deep but gentle shaking from within (every time I try to verbally describe a stimulation/sensation I realise that we, as humans, have never developed a sexual vocabulary and that this is a dialectical exercise we are not familiar with).
The kind of motion provided by Stronic effectively stimulates deeply and intensely without causing that numbing effect that you might feel with vibrations after a while during use.
The other huge advantage is that this kind of sex toy is extremely silent, more than any other vibrator or motor-powered sex toy.

Stronics are also suggested to be used hands-free, but I’d rather recommend not to take this lightly: they are sex toys with a significant weight and it would be better to always support them with the hands or to find alternative solutions like using the mattress or a pillow as a support so that the entire weight doesn’t burden the pelvic floor (be considerate of this part of your body ?).
Let me also remind you that it’s pretty normal for sex toys to entail a learning curve, especially when it comes to uncommon stimulation like this one: it can feel weird at the start, but you can learn how to get the most out of it by listening carefully to your body, to its needs and its responses, and then find your own way to pleasure.
I found it pleasurable also using it externally to massage the vulva and stimulate the clit, labia or vagina opening: it’s always good and fun to experiment (as long as it’s safe: for example, Stronic Petit is NOT anal safe and this is also well specified in the user manual).

Volita
Volita is the ready-to-use causal vibrator: small, light, affordable.
Volita is a smaller version of Volta, the external vibrator with two soft, flexible and thin fluttery tips that you can use around the clitoris’ glans and shaft but also around the penis (maybe during fellatio) and on every other area of the body that you like to titillate. They are very soft so they can bend and slide over the skin for tickling and massaging.
Volita works with one AA battery and a unique vibration intensity.

The motor is placed more or less in the central part of the toy, so vibrations are concentrated here and propagate through the fluttering tips and the handle, where they gradually fade out so as not to be felt too strong in the hand or the body.
It’s the perfect sex toy to keep in the nightstand for moments of solo pleasure or partner play to add stimulation and sensations. It can be a pleasurable prelude to something more intense or a playful undemanding amusement.

Final thoughts
Clit Kit is a set that adapts to different bodies and needs in terms of stimulation. I wouldn’t recommend it only to people who don’t find penetration pleasurable, because it makes no sense to have a sex toy like the Stronic and use it only externally (there are toys designed for this specific use) and people who, on the contrary, seek a rather powerful and raw penetration (the stimulation provided by the Stronic is intense but respectful).
The playfulness and cultural aspects are two key components of this kit: I appreciated them deeply and I believe they enrich the overall experience of use.

Stronic Petite and Volita are two very different sex toys that allow to stimulate different areas in different ways and that can be used together simultaneously in a Fun combination of multiple pleasures: it’s also interesting (and formative) to listen to your body and learn how it reacts. Volita is also easy to use on someone other’s body, so it can be part of a sharing of pleasure (and communication, both verbal and nonverbal).
Price and Discount code
Clit Kit is proposed at a discounted price compared to what you’d spend to buy the two sex toys separately: it costs €134,90 (instead of €159,80), so it can’t be reduced further.
But Fun Factory created a discount code for our community to be used on other products.
It works this way: if you buy Clit Kit within this August using the code LE-SEX-EN-ROSE, you’ll get another code that you can use anytime in 2021 to buy any toy by Fun Factory with a discount of 20%. Fun Factory will send the personal code within one workday.
